The short introduction

For as long as I remember, I've been entranced with watches and the world of high horology. What started as a simple fascination as a young boy has evolved to become a deep affection and line of work, where I've been fortunate enough to contribute to a number of websites, publications, magazines, videos and podcasts for a period spanning close to a decade.

Project: Calendar

Since 2019 a yearly calendar has been produced and sold through the Horae-website. The project is still going strong and has proved a great success.

With its large format of 50 x 70 cm the calendar is a perfect addition to any office, garage or even living room. Every year a new picture and watch is selected to adorn the calendar, making it a great decorative and inspirational piece for any seasoned or budding watch enthusiast.

Unfortunately – the calendar is only available in Norway.

The long introduction

Jørgen Erdahl is a journalist, collector, invited speaker and influencer on high quality watches. Based in the northernmost part of Norway – way above the Arctic Cirle – he was gifted the nickname “The Watch Warden of the North” by a fellow watch enthusiast during SIHH 2018.

Currently, Jørgen is engaged as a Contributing Editor / Editor-at-Large at Norway’s biggest and most respected watch website Tidssonen.no, Contributing Writer at Finansavisen Motor, as well as a freelance writer for several other publications, websites, magazines and retailers.
